We know from experience that there is more to being healthy than what you eat and how much you work out. To achieve true health you must also focus on your mental well being. We achieve this through providing our clients with a fun, safe, nurturing and judgment free environment. We want you to leave feeling nourished, empowered and stronger.
Our teachers are committed to providing you with the best experience possible. All instructors have completed their designated certifications to ensure you receive the best experience possible to help you achieve your goals and have a great time while you do it. We are passionate about continuing our education and striving for excellence.

Kristy’s love for Pilates started over 20 years ago. Pilates helped her recover from a minor car accident and it quickly turned into more than just a form of rehabilitation, it became a new lifestyle. Kristy completed the Intensive Mat course in 2011, the Intensive Reformer course in February 2012 and achieved her Stott Certification in June 2013. Kristy has continued to develop her education, completing a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education workshops annually. In addition she has completed the following courses;

Principles of Osteopathy for Movement Therapists

In 2015, Kristy and her husband opened @ The Barre, Pilates, Barre & Fitness Studio. This provided Kristy the opportunity to be in one location and work with more clients. It is so much more than a Pilates studio, @ The Barre is a place where you can forget about it all for an hour and be part of a great community.
