@ The Barre is a combination of a few Barre disciplines rooted in the principles of Stott Pilates. Each Barre class is designed for all fitness levels to challenge your endurance, improve your balance and strength and provide a full body workout. The format of each class provides the fat burning results of interval training.

Barre workouts have been practice by dancers for years. This is the workout dancers use to keep themselves in shape and prepare for performances. You don’t need to have the flexibility or the moves of a dancer to feel the benefits of a Barre workout. This is not a ballet class, however we do focus on your form to ensure you are safe and leave feeling great. To ensure proper form we focus on the 6 Basic Principles.

6 Basic principles:

  1. Breathing
  2. Pelvic Placement
  3. Rib Cage Placement & Stabilization
  4. Scapular Movement & Stabilization
  5. Head & Cervical Placement
  6. Hip, Knee, Ankle & Foot Placement

BARRE – These classes are multi-level classes, 55 minutes, non-stop. These classes will challenge your endurance and rev up your metabolism. Each class offers a different set list and choreography to provide your body the variety it craves to show great results.

All of our Barre classes have been developed for all fitness levels, unless otherwise marked on our class schedule. We encourage you to listen to your body during class, take breaks as you need to and most of all, have fun. The results you see and feel will keep you coming back week after week.
